01 — Deployment
How it lands in a school
- Registration
- Students register with name, grade, school, city, age group, preferred language and parent or school consent.
- Audio check
- Before any activity the platform checks microphone access, voice clarity, background noise, recording volume and connection stability, then takes a five-second test recording.
- Topic allocation
- The platform sets the topic, activity type, preparation time, speaking duration and scoring criteria — so every student in a cohort is assessed on comparable terms.
- Evaluation
- AI analyses the audio and transcript against the published rubric, returning an overall score, criterion-wise scores, strengths, improvement areas, speaking statistics, qualification status and recommended next practice.
- Human review
- Shortlists go to audio-based human review. The AI narrows the field; people make the decisions that matter.
02 — Data and consent
What a school needs to be able to say
Students are minors and the platform records their voices, so the questions come early and they should. Audio only — no video, no face detection, no camera monitoring of any kind. Consent is captured at registration from a parent or the school.
Retention, deletion and access terms are set out in the privacy policy, and we are happy to walk a data protection officer or school board through them directly before any rollout.
