02 — The promise

You do not need to become an engineer

The most common reason a teacher declines a robotics programme is a reasonable one: they were not trained in it, and being visibly unsure in front of a class is unpleasant.

So the curriculum is written for you rather than for a specialist. You are asked to run a lesson — set it up, keep groups moving, ask good questions, close it properly. The subject knowledge you need for that is in the guide, in the order you need it.
